While the events sector is experiencing major upheavals in relation to issues of health security and physical distancing, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is adapting. After receiving the Monaco Safe label which guarantees the organisation of an event at the GFM under the best conditions, the Principality’s congress and cultural centre is improving its range of services with different event solutions that combine face-to-face with virtual participation.
In collaboration with the partner Key4Events, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco offers its clients turnkey solutions for the following:
– Allowing participants that cannot be physically present, whether alone or in groups, to attend live or rebroadcast events on one or more other sites with the possibility of interacting live;
– Inviting speakers who cannot be physically present to speak remotely, either live or recorded.
To complete its recording, dissemination and branding offer, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco also offers content storage and download solutions, as well as statistical studies for measuring the impact of these hybrid events which can be of all types (congresses, conferences, seminaries, exhibitions, fairs, etc.).
Sylvie Biancheri, Managing Director of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, “Distancing cannot replace face-to-face contact – human contact is the very essence of our activities – but the concept of a hybrid or omnichannel event makes it possible to overcome a temporary impossibility of taking part in an event, as may currently be the case due to the #Covid19 healthcare crisis. By streaming the event to one or more hubs located remotely where other participants are gathered together, this concept can also increase the audience of an event that has reached its maximum face-to-face capacity, and in this regard it constitutes an interesting lever of development”.
